School Hours
Morning:
School will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Children may begin assembling in their home rooms at 8:15 a.m.
Before school care will begin at 7 a.m. until 8:15 a.m.
Breakfast will be available to students who arrive before 7:45 am.
Afternoon:
School will end at 3:30 p.m.
Students must be picked up by 3:45 p.m. otherwise they will be moved into the
after-school program.
Students participating in the after school program will receive a healthy snack.

Dress Code
Wisconsin International School believes a dress code for Kindergarten through 8th grade students are important because they:
- Allow students to focus on academics rather than on dress.
- Alleviate competition for more expensive clothing and/or fad clothing.
- Help the student get ready for school in the morning with as little conflict over clothing as possible.
Pre-Kindergarten Students
There will be no formal uniform requirements for Pre-Kindergarten students. We do however ask that parents dress children in clothing and shoes that are easy to put on and take off by themselves. Items with buttons, hooks, buckles or laces are often difficult for children of this age to manipulate.
Young children should also have a change of clothing at school in the event of an accident.

Transportation
WIS will not provide busing at the present time. A car pool coordinator will work with parents and make suggestions based on geographical location of residence.

Lunch Program
We hope to have more specifics of a catered lunch program available soon. WIS will endorse healthy, well-balanced meals using locally grown product as well as organic products.
