I have worked with young children since 1985, teaching children between the ages of 2-3 for 20 years. This is my favorite age to work with because they are so eager to learn. My appreciation for people and culture is incorporated in my teaching.
In working with the youngest students, I have taught children who had never been away from their parents and a few who had not yet been exposed to the English language. I delight in guiding young children with creativity and compassion.

Some of my international experiences include living in England near my grandparents for 3 years, living in Germany for 6 years, traveling in many countries, and being part of a host family for several foreign exchange students from 3 continents.
