What Curriculum Program does
Wisconsin International School use?
After reviewing many top-rated programs designed for Preschool to 8th grade students, we have found the International Baccalaureate (IB) to be best matched to our mission and values. WIS applied to become a candidate school for the Primary Years Programme authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization. We achieved IB Candidate School status in September 2009. We are completing the second application, which will be followed by an authorization visit shortly thereafter.

Our middle school is based on many concepts and standards from the IB Middle Years Programme
Learning Mandarin Chinese or Spanish 30
minutes each school day for preschool students.
School Technology Update
Many technologies give our students the most advanced learning tools available. First, we would like to share with you SMART Technologies Interactive Whiteboard Solutions which are in our classrooms. Click here to go to the SMART Board website.
Secondly, students in upper elementary and middle school have access to netbooks for use in their classroom. All students from toddler to 8th grade have exposure to age-appropriate technology instruction in the tools and techniques of software. electronic white boards and the Internet.
