Mission Statement
Wisconsin International School provides a challenging, international curriculum that instills the principles of honesty, self-discipline and fair play. Wisconsin International School develops leaders, inspires learning and encourages responsible global citizenship.
Vision and Philosophy
At the core of Wisconsin International School’s value system is a sense of fairness, honesty and responsibility. Our challenging curriculum and supportive learning environment strives to provide developmentally appropriate programs that allow using state of the art technology and the latest studies in early childhood brain research and learning styles between the different genders.
At WIS, we draw strength through diversity. Our aim is to instill a sense of pride in our school, neighborhood, and national community. We embrace the uniqueness and diversity that connect and make us valuable to our community. Our programs provide opportunities for students to value their communities as well as to serve as active members within their communities. We are committed to creating a diverse student body both racially and ethnically and in religious and socioeconomic status.
We believe our partnerships with students, parents, faculty and board members strengthen our mission and develop the whole child. In preserving the integrity of our value system, we strive to strengthen these partnerships by providing opportunities to develop the child’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs.
Values we hope to instill with our students:
- Integrity
- Knowledge and Learning
- Self-Actualization and Personal Growth
