Dear WIS Community,
I am delighted, thankful and elated to be chosen for the role of Head of School for Wisconsin Internaional School for 2011-2012. Education is my passion and my life-long pursuit is helping shape minds, hearts, hands and spirits. I am exited to join with all of you in continuing to move forward as a community committed to the nurturing and development of our children who are our future international shakers and movers.
The Wisconsin International School is on the cutting edge of an educational environment that offers every child the opportunity to excel as a well-rounded individual - enhancing their physical, intellectual, emotional and social well being or what I like to call the Desserts of Life - PIES in a globally-minded environment. William Yeats, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1923 said, "Education is not filling a bucket of water, rather it is lighting a fire." Here at WIS, this is happening and we will move forward with passion, commitment, and dedication in fanning the flames of the fire, as it becomes the premiere education institution in the state of Wisconsin.
