My name is Mr. O'Brien.
I was born in Paris, Tennessee but consider northeast Pennsylvania home.
My birthday is October 19th.
My family includes my wife Rachel and two children Jameson and Caleb.
I have two Master of Arts degrees: DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and Trinity Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.
I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Union University, Jackson, Tennessee and an Associates Degree in Architectural/Mechanical Drafting from Tennessee Technology Center in McKenzie, TN.

My Teaching Philosophy: I believe strongly that education should be more about method than content. In other words, I think a good education teaches how to think rather than what to think. A good education also models, encourages, and promotes character. Finally, a good education prompts students to self-educate, self-monitor, and create rather than always critique.

Books: Current reads include the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov; anything by Shakespeare, Friedrich Nietzsche, Fyodor Dostoevsky; P.G. Wodehouse, and too many others to name

Time of Year: I thoroughly enjoy the fall with its colors and scents and it is also the time of year for football and hunting.

Destinations visited: I have been over much of Europe, throughout the Middle East, and over much of the United States, mainly in the Northeast and South.
My dream vacation:
I currently am hoping to go to British Columbia to see both Vancouver and the Northern Rockies around Whistler.
Biggest ambition: To be the best husband, father, co-worker, teacher, and friend I can be.
