My teaching experience encompasses preschool to high school. This summer, I will be teaching Painting in the Learning In Retirement program at UWGB. I also enjoy basic art instruction to interactive multimedia computer projects, and cultural explorations.
As an Art teacher, I share my love of the Arts with students. I enjoy helping them embark on a life long journey of exploring, experimenting and appreciating art. I encourage students to find creative solutions to problems and provide venues for them to express themselves through art.
I have traveled extensively in Africa, Europe, Australia and Mexico; these experiences of different cultures inform my teaching philosophy. I believe that it is vitally important to introduce children at an early age to the artistic products of other world cultures.
I have exhibited my artwork in New York City, Amsterdam, Cairo, Chicago, Iowa City, San Francisco and Green Bay.
I am fluent in Armenian, Arabic and French.
A Few of my Favorite Things!
Hobbies: Gardening, embroidery, cooking and doing re-search on numerous subjects.
Strangest favorite food: I had Grasshopper once, and it was quite good with the spicy sauce.
